Hello and Welcome

Hello and welcome to the “For the Glory” blog.  This blog is dedicated to the study of God’s word.  The posts will deal with cultural and personal issues from a Biblical perspective.  There are so many things taking place in our society today – how can we make sense of them?  There are so many attacks upon God’s word and the church – how can we defend against them?   It is my hope and prayer that this blog site will help many people arm themselves to shine as lights in a dark world.  In addition to the posts, there are links to other Biblical websites and blogs.  All of these sites would be helpful in your Biblical study and growth.  I also have a Twitter feed that will give you simple thoughts and ideas concerning verses in the Bible.  These can aid you as you study by hopefully expanding the way you look at the various texts.  In the near future, there will be an opportunity for you to send me your Bible questions and I will answer them.  Other tools that will be available will be video lessons and lesson outlines.  May God bless you in your study and may this site be a part of that blessing.
